Voice communications for virtual ATC.
SimCom X ATC Client provides a controller-side voice communication system designed to work with SimCom X Pilot. It lets controllers communicate with aircraft, coordinate with other controllers and provide ATIS information.
SimCom X VCCS / ATCO. The controller client is the VCS-style ATC side of SimCom X, with multi-radio operator controls, ATIS, controller directory/phone, direct PTT lines and configurable audio/input/network settings.
Controller communications
- Communicate with aircraft using the SimCom X Pilot client through the frequency-aware voice transport.
- Use controller-to-controller phone calls and direct PTT shortcuts for coordination.
- Operate as a VCS-style communications console with six local radio windows, including ATIS.
ATIS support
The built-in ATIS supports controller-entered runway, weather and operational information. Whenever the ATIS content changes, its phonetic identifier advances sequentially Alpha through Zulu before the new message is broadcast.
VCS-style operator controls
- 24-hour Zulu clock and current ATIS identifier.
- ATC rows sorted nearest first with active frequency, distance and seven-digit ATOTN.
- ICAO/position directory entries with clickable CALL controls.
- Configurable microphone/output devices, keyboard/mouse/HID PTT and simulated VHF receive noise.
- SimCom X mode by default, with Group mode available as an explicit alternative.
.NET 10 is required. Install the .NET 10 runtime before starting the application. Download .NET 10 from Microsoft.
Works with SimCom X Pilot
The ATC client is designed to be used with the SimCom X Pilot Client, providing the controller side of the same virtual radio environment.
