Hey Roo,
I've been off for a few months (all my computers boxed away) and I am finally getting my sim back up and running. I ran into a couple of issues with the all the versions after v.118. SimCom no longer recognizes my joystick button as before.(ie button 3 or 4). It will accept a keyboard input or if the joystick button has a key assigned to it, but not the key itself. The other thing I've found is that when checking the simulator box for FSX/P3D/MS2020 and the sim running, no frequencies are displayed on the client. They do display if I check FSUIPC. I am running FSX.

Hi Tony,
I'm away for a few days at the moment.
As soon as I get back I'll give everything the once over and see what I can find.
Is there anything in the log?
What joystick are you using.
Roo,
Thanks for the response. I've attached the log file. With FSUIPC selected the log shows no errors.
Here is also a short excerpt: The rest of the log is the same.

In regards to the joystick, I'm using a CH Fighterstick.
Thanks for your time,
Tony J
Thanks Tony.
Good news. It's an easy fix. It looks like it's related to when I was trying to gain extra info from Simconnect. I must have left an old line of code in.
The bad news is, that I'm not near my PC until Saturday.
I'll get a fix out once I'm back though.
Appreciate the support.

Just thinking about this Tony...
I've recently told Simconnect to read the PTT button set in the SIM, as well as those set in SimCom X.
I wonder if that might be the issue with your joystick PTT?
If you set the joystick PTT in the FSX settings, it should work. If it's causing a conflict with the normal Joystick PTT I'll revert it back to how it was.
Roo,
What happened was during SIMCOM setup without FSX running, I could not power on without setting the PTT which for me is my joystick button 4.
My PTT button (button 4) on my joystick is configured through a voice recognition program (MCE) that sees the button just as joystick button. In FSX I have caps lock assigned to transmit in FSX. When I push button 4 to assign it to SIMCOM it doesn't see the key press. It will see the key press if I hit the key manually though.
